TACTICAL THERAPEUTICS is a Biopharmaceutical Company developing the next wave of safer and cost effective small molecule therapeutics with near term commercialization for treatment of cancer and other diseases. At the core of the Company’s technology are patented products, with the lead candidate, an angiogenesis inhibitor, called 1,2,3-carboxyamido-triazole orotate (CTO) that has unique pharmacokinetic properties of faster delivery to target cancer cells as well as a high clearance rate and reduced toxicity when compared with CAI, a drug tested in clinical trials by the National Cancer Institute for 20 years and abandoned. Specifically, CTO has overcome most of the disadvantages of CAI. The Company has held discussions with the FDA to develop CTO under the Accelerated Drug Approval Track and has obtained a letter from the NCI to cross-reference its IND on CAI.
The time line is to file the Investigative New Drug (IND) in one year and the New Drug Application (NDA) in three years, by using the historical clinical data available for the discontinued Merck drug CAI.
Mission
To provide therapies that are more effective, less toxic and more cost effective than current cancer therapeutics by:
Targeting specific targets with small molecules
Modify chemical structures to make deliverable, safe and non-toxic drugs that can be given orally
Pharmacokinetic modulation to improve bioavailability, efficacy and clearance of drugs
Developing affordable and cost effective drugs for cancer patients worldwide
